Definition, community service

Community service is when you do something for someone else without the intentions of getting a reward or money. Community service can be carried out by simple acts such as helping someone carry groceries to painting a wall at a local building. This service should benefit someone other than yourself and it should be done because you would like to help and not because you are required to. Although some people may receive mandatory community service after committing a crime, it is important that you realize that there are many community service opportunities around you.

Services for persons with developmental disabilities, traumatic, brain injury, those with disabilities seeking an alternative to nursing home placement and people with HIV/AIDS.

The volunteer here in this organization are to help in services are provided with profound respect for individual abilities and accomplishments and compassionate assistance that helps them achieve the things they cannot do alone.  All of the services are individualized, centered of the goals and dreams of one person, and directed toward those and. 

I think is very important to help, because is people than don’t have the same opportunity in the life, like to us in study, work or because is people than have a bad experience in your lives. also because today is for them, tomorrow for me or someone from my family or friends.

     Yesterday May 8 we went to the  Niagara falls, Carlos Albert, Erick, Calos Mario, Hassan and Oscar Valle.  The idea was see the Cataratas in the night, and was really beautiful.

This is the most beautiful place then I know in New York, for a wonderful houses, big green zone and a special Canadaigua Lake.

ERIE CANAL

•A survey performed in 1816 established the route of the Erie Canal, a major goal was to link Lake Erie and the other Great Lakes with the Atlantic Coast through a canal .

From the Hudson River flows into New York Bay and past the west side of Manhattan in New York City, and then through Syracuse and Rochester to Buffalo, located on the northeast coast of Lake Erie.

NOW ....

This is generally used as a recreational waterway, and the State of New York is actively engaged in promoting the Erie Canal as a tourist destination.

We can enjoy with our friends and family in the Erie canal, from everywhere.

LABYRINTH IN MY LIFE..

About the 6 questions I can say ........


Some people enjoy when do this, feeling relaxed, don't stress, and you can use such a psychology experiment.


The oldest labyrinth is in  Scandinavia Mediterranean , the name is CRETE,  this is in the year 300 BC.


The largest is in Italian - "Laissez moi cultiver mon jardin" 


When I need relax, I keep silence, sometimes I pray, and light a candle, also I can sleep short time.


When we went for walked in the labyrinth, I felt tranquility, immediately I did  the relation with a special place, and I think this labyrinth is behind the chapel, maybe because have any spiritual relation. 

Some times I feel my life's like a labyrinth, with many lines, but confused, and I wish to reach the goal, this I hope.
